Vee is about giving power to people.
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others?”, said Martin Luther King Jr., and from a very early age May Piamenta followed that question. Since her teenage years, May has been passionate about volunteerism. Before starting Vee, she led a global nonprofit team, managing 10 million volunteers in over 32 countries. The process was all done manually, and she found that all existing solutions were enterprise-oriented and difficult to use. So May decided to act.
With a vision of helping nonprofits, companies, and individuals facilitate social and environmental change, Vee is a social impact platform offering an accessible, scalable, and intuitive solution for volunteering. Vee helps corporations globally to scale their social services, empowering them to support the missions they love while inspiring others to do the same. "Volunteering has been found as a lead contributor to employee engagement and has a positive impact on the success rate of individuals and organizations," says May. "It was a big moment for us when we realized that companies that take action on their values attract top talent, and generate higher engagement and performance, while of course doing good for the world.”

Vee was launched less than a year ago and already operates in over 300 organizations, 65% of them in the US, and most importantly - has supported thousands of volunteering hours worldwide.
