The unique mix of mutual responsibility, along with the Israeli "chutzpah" and direct attitude, is what makes the Israeli ecosystem so successful and special

Unistream was founded 20 years ago by entrepreneur Rony Zarom with a mission to reduce socioeconomic disparity in Israel, by ensuring that every teen in the socioeconomic and geographic periphery will have equal opportunities. The organization harnesses entrepreneurship and innovation education as tools to enable teens to dream big and gain entrepreneurial and advanced employment

skills that will help them succeed in life.

As part of Unistream programs, teens develop and run their own businesses and social startups, through which they develop an approach that anything is possible. They gain invaluable experience in 21st century skills such as networking, advanced English, business development, creative thinking, public speaking, and many more skills that are critical in today’s and tomorrow’s market. All the programs and activities in Unistream include mentors and consultants from a comprehensive network of more than 4,500 volunteers – experts, senior business people and professionals, including senior executives from all sectors and disciplines of the business community.

According to Unistream’s CEO Ifat Bechor, "As of today the organization operates 22 entrepreneurship centers and groups in over 90 municipalities in Israel, and reaches 3,500 youth participants per year. Moreover, its alumni community includes 4,500 graduates who are part of a network that supports them throughout the years and provides them with career guidance, academic consulting, and work placement. Our strong connection to the business community enables participants to gain unprecedented access to the business community and establish professional networks."

Unistreams operates throughout Israel, from Kiryat Shmona in the north to Eilat in the south and around the world in places such as the U.S. and Europe. Unistream is active in all walks of Israeli society and reaches Jews, Arabs, Druze, Bedouin, Utra-Orthodox, at-risk youth etc.
